I am a life-long learner with a never-ending passion for new knowledge and skills. I learn them quickly on my own, but even quicker in a team. And while I am able to both retain, recall, and train what I have already learned, I freely admit that I have plenty of room for improvement and growth!

I am new to professional software development, but I have several years of both professional and personal experience in reading and understanding code written by others, then modifying it to suit the current needs of my customers. This includes PowerShell, VB, and other scripting, plus some object-oriented code such as C++.
I already have more than ten years' experience solving problems for internal and external customers both on my own and in a team, completing tasks large and small and projects simple and complex, all on time and within budget. What I want to do now is transition those skills from computer hardware and software support to hardware and software development!
